The Travel Adventure Show: Coming soon to London

With the development of mass tourism in the last 20 years, this has also led to opportunities to travel much further and more easily. This in effect has also made it much easier for adventure sports fanatics to seek adventures worldwide and with this trend, the ‘Adventure travel’ industry is now an important area within the travel industry. The demand for Adventure travel both domestically and Internationally, means that shows such as the ‘Travel Adventure Show’ have become increasingly popular.

Taking place in London this year on the 28th and 29th January in the Olympia Exhibition Centre, the Adventure Show is slightly different to many other exhibitions in that the show is aimed as much as people involved with writing and photography for the travel industry, as it is for suppliers of travel products and services. The writing seminars for example focus on skills needed for travel writing and how to go about getting published as a travel writer. The photography seminars take on a similar approach, with tips and advice on making it as a travel photographer and how to sell pictures to travel publications.

The ‘Theatre’ part of the show is also worth considering if you can make it to this event. Sponsored by the Daily Telegraph newspaper, travel writers from the newspaper hold several of the talks and performances. Topics are scheduled to include ‘Big Wall Climbing’ and ‘The North Pole challenge’.
In addition to the presentations and talks, this show also offers a range of exhibition stand displays from many of the leading travel adventure related companies in the market. Expect to see the likes of ‘Travel Africa’, ‘Experience Holidays’, ‘Wanderlust, ‘Adventure under Sail’, and ‘Oasis Overland’ present at the show.

You can book tickets online in advance for GBP£8 or pay at the door for GBP£10. You can learn more online via the official Adventure Sports Show website, whilst companies who will be exhibiting, can still buy exhibition stands online, for the show.
