5 Exhibitions you will not want to miss for 2012
2012 looks to be a promising year for the exhibition industry, with thousands of events once again planned and covering a wide scope of topics and areas of interest. Below are some of those which you will not want to miss in coming year.
The Great Exhibition 2012, Peterborough This event is held in a different location every year, and the venue for 2012 is Peterborough in the East of England. This long standing show celebrates everything that is great about Britain, with everything from British products to tourism, being given a platform for promotion. For anybody who enjoys British Culture, it is a very good chance to get involved and to promote everything from Welsh lamb and Yorkshire beers, through to Cornish Pasties and North Sea oil. More on the Great Exhibition 2012.

New York National Boat Show Boat shows are amongst the best attended exhibitions in the world each year and the annual New York event is certainly in the higher echelons of this category. The show runs for four days at the very beginning of 2012 in the Javits Centre and for over 105 years the organisers have created the perfect formula for a boat show to ensure the best possible experience for visitors. Fishing enthusiasts as well as boating lovers will enjoy the vast number of exhibitors covering all aspects of these areas.
International Football Development Expo, Amsterdam
Football is the largest sport in the world in terms of fans, participants and viewing figures, and this exhibition in Amsterdam is designed to facilitate its continued development. Anybody involved in the development of football at all levels will find this exhibition extremely useful as a means of learning how to evolve their individual contribution as well as influencing the sport on a wider scale. There is access to football organisations, suppliers, developers and federations to name but a few.
Australian Jewellery Fair
This is the ideal place to promote products, make contacts and develop business within the jewellery field. There are various successful jewellery shows in Australia and worldwide, but this event in Melbourne is one of the best due to its sophisticated setting, its streamlined format and its efficiency in creating business partnerships.
World Travel Market - London
This is one of my favourite shows and one which I try and attend every year. No matter where you are looking to visit worldwide or what type of travel you are interested in (be it skiing, wellness, beach or cultural holidays) there is something for everyone at this event. Always based in London each November, the travel seminars are worth attending and tend to be very informative and presented by travel industry leaders.

2012 France Show - Coming soon...
With 2012 just around the corner, it is the start of another exhibitions calendar and that also means that it is almost time again for one of the most popular travel exhibitions in London each year, the France Show. The French have a passion and approach to life which many people from around the world find fascinating and this show is a chance for everyone to experience the best in French lifestyle and products under one roof, in the Earls Court Exhibition Centre.
Taking place on the 13th, 14th and 15th January 2012, this 3 day event is an excellent way to experience France without or before going there. Expect to experience everything from the b
est of French foods, wines, property, travel, tourism, language, culture, finance and law, making this easily the most comprehensive show in Europe about France, other than the shows which take place in France itself. The show attracts a large number of native French companies and experts and it really does tend to be a show which people find genuinely helpful and worth attending, going by the feedback I have had on this show in recent years.
Certainly my favourite (and many people’s favourite) area is the food and wine section, with the chance to try a variety of wines and foods. Cuisine is a key element of French culture and this is not lost on the France Show, with several French chefs showcasing their skills and presenting at the event.
If you are interested in buying a property in France, whether it is as a second home or a home to permanently reside in, this is another key area which is covered at the France Show. You can meet with a host of estate agents and French property experts to help you make the right decision including on specific subjects such as the tax rules for British citizens owning property in France.
If you have any interest in France, I can highly recommend this show. Likewise, if you sell any type of French related products or services, you still have the chance to exhibit at the 2012 show and can find exhibitor information on the official France Show website. Exhibitors can also buy or rent exhibition stands for the France Show via companies including Clip Ltd.

Guide to the Totally Ice Gaming Show
The gaming market is one of the largest fields in the entertainment industry, accounting for millions of pounds income each year for a variety of related businesses. To satisfy the incredible demand within the sector, the 'ICE Totally Gaming Show' was started and it is now said to be the largest and most diverse business to business event in this field anywhere in the world.
Taking place again in the Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London (24th - 26th January 2012) ICE brings together over 400 hundred exhibitors, ranging from casinos, betting organisations, bingo
providers, lottery organisations, mobile gaming producers and the online and street gaming sectors. A key theme that one tends to see at this show every year, is the way in which the developments in technology are always a vital element of many exhibits. Due to the nature of the gaming industry, technology is closely aligned to this sector and this means that you will might sometimes wonder whether you are attending an I.T. show or a gaming show. The reality is that in many ways this is both. The fact that the gaming industry embraces technology so strongly, makes this a fascinating show to attend, with the chance to see many of the very latest technological inventions in their infancy in the business cycle.
The mission statement at this event is quite simple; if it is to do with gaming and is new and exciting then it will be at this event. This is proving to be a successful approach with the visitor numbers increasing each year and people continue to travel here from all over the world. The seminar programme is also one of the most popular features of the show and this is a great way for hearing about the latest concepts in the gaming industry.
You can learn more about the show via the official Totally Ice Gaming Show website and for London exhibition stands, ClipDisplay.com provide a variety of solutions.
