Offshore Europe 2011 Show

Offshore Europe is a conference and exhibition held in Aberdeen with a view to promoting the safe and sustainable sourcing and use of oil and gas. With Scotland having a big link with these industries it seems fitting that this event is hosted here. The venue for the event is the Aberdeen Conference and Exhibition Centre.

The show is split in to various different sections, each with a different goal in mind. There are conference events which are designed to provide people with a Offshore Europeplatform on which to debate the latest issues and those issues which may arise in the future in relation to oil and gas.

There is also an exhibition area where companies related to the industry can showcase their latest products to the key people in the industry as well as demonstrate the steps that they have made in recent times. One of the key aims of the show is to educate, and the exhibition is the main way in which this is achieved, with powerful presentations and useful information from whole flurry of organisations differing in nature. The different zones of the show make it easy to find the section which is most interest to the visitor.

The conferences vary between formal discussions to more informal chats over lunch and breakfast. The state of the art technology allows for interactive discussions using televisions and sounds. Aside from the formal areas, there are areas within the show which are specifically designed to facilitate networking, including cafe areas and bars.
You can learn more about Offshore Europe from the official event site or find other oil and gas exhibitions and events.
