Exhibition Venues Spotlight: Aberdeen

In Scotland the SECC (Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre) is widely known and the largest venue, but there are also some other high quality venues available for organisers and exhibitors.

Aberdeen Exhibition Centre, situated in Bridge of Don (AB23 8BL in case you have a SatNav), is quite a new and also modern looking centre. This exhibition venue, which also acts as a conference centre, already holds a number of exhibitions each month, with September 2008 exhibitions including:

• The Renovation & Self Build Show
• Food Micro 2008
• Best' Practice Makes Perfect 08

Getting to Aberdeen is relatively simple from the centre, with a Park and Ride service available to the exhibition centre. Aberdeen also has its own International airport and several airlines such as BMI Baby, Ryanair and Air France fly in and out of Aberdeen airport.
